Pool Information

Elgin Municipal Pool at Morris Memorial Park - 802 N Ave C

Admission Fee:

• Ages 0-5: Free
• Individuals: $2.00
• Swim Pass: $65.00 (55 entries per pass per person)

Open to the Public:

Pool opens Memorial Day weekend. (Closed June 1st. Regular hours starting June 2rd)

• Everyday 11:30am – 5:45pm
• Every Friday – Families Swim FREE 6:00pm – 8:30pm

August 12th until September 3rd – Open to the public weekends only

Programs at the Pool:

• Water Aerobics: MWF 9:15am – 10:15am / TTH  7:00pm – 8:00pm
• Daycare Swim:   TTH 9:15am – 11:15am
• Swim Lessons:   Monday - Thursday 6pm - 7pm

Pool Party Rese​rvations: Saturday or Sunday 6:30pm – 8:30pm 

Open to the Public

The season opens May 27th for Memorial Weekend and is closed May 30th, May 31st, and June 1st. June 2nd regular season hours begin. The Pool is open to the public 7 days a week from June 2nd til August 11th. It is then only open weekends August 12 - September 3rd. 

Water Aerobics

Water aerobics for the 2017 season will be from 9:15am - 10:15am Monday, Wednesday & Friday and from 7:00pm – 8:00pm Tuesdays & Thursdays. Call the parks department for registration and fee information. 

Free Swimming

Every Friday the Pool is open from 6:30 to 8:30 PM for families to enjoy swimming together for free. Call ahead to check availability.

Reserve the Pool for Your Next Party

The Pool is available to rent for pool parties on Saturdays or Sundays, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. See Facility Rentals for details

Swim Lessons

 
Swim lessons are provided by the Elgin City Pool. Each session will consist of 4 lessons over the span of 2 weeks on Mondays/Wednesdays or Tuesdays/Thursdays from 6pm - 7pm. Cost per session is $75 per child. 

• Session I - June 5th - June 15th
• Session II - June 19th - June 29th
• Session III - July 10 - July 20th
• Session IV - July 24th - August 3rd

Spaces are limited so please call the parks department or come to the Fleming Center for registration information. You can download the swim lessons 2017 registration form from down below. Please print and fill out the registration form and bring it to the Fleming Center to have your child registered.
