Texas Downtown Associations Destination Business of the year finalist, Double R Hat House, has operated in Elgin for more than seven years. Emilio and Fana Rangel opened their storefront in Historic Downtown Elgin seven years ago when they were 18 years old. They recently expanded to Highway 290 to keep up with the demand. Double R Hat House offers a unique product and service of custom creased straw and felt hats. They built their reputation on high-quality products and great customer service, which brings people to Elgin from all over the state.  85-90% of their customer base come from out of town.

OnePointe Solutions, a leading laboratory and industrial furniture manufacturer, announced its business expansion in Elgin. OnePointe designs, engineers, manufactures and installs its furniture across North America. They provide high-quality customizable solutions for use in laboratory, industrial, government, and educational settings, as well as more recently catering to the commercial sector. 

In 2018, OnePointe Solutions relocated to Elgin from Austin. Currently, they operate in a 63,000-square-foot facility on six acres off Swenson Blvd in Elgin Business Park I. They are constructing an additional 18,000 square feet of warehouse space expected to be completed by June 2023.   

Today, the company employs 109 team members. The expansion will create more production capacity to fulfill orders and add to the product line. OnePointe Solutions is an integral part of the Elgin community that continues to support community efforts, including volunteering and coordination of the Annual Hogeye Festival Car Show.

Carr Lane Manufacturing is relocating their operations from Austin to Elgin in the Summer of 2023. They decided to relocate to Elgin because of the affordability of land and vast talent pool. The company has been in business for over seventy years and entered the Austin market for forty years.

Carr Lane manufactures more than 135,000 tooling components and precision parts for the aerospace, automotive, agriculture, and automation industries. Carr Lane Manufacturing has over fifty-thousand square feet under construction in the Elgin Business Park located off Roy Rivers Road. Yerico Manufacturing is celebrating 20 years of business in Elgin. Yerico Manufacturing is a multi-service semiconductor component refurbishment, repair, and manufacturing company. In 2009, Yerico expanded their business globally opening a second location in South Korea.  They have a thriving partnership with some of the largest semiconductor manufacturing companies in the world like Samsung, Texas Instruments, Micron, and NXP.  

Yerico Manufacturing entered into an Economic Development Agreement in 2020 to purchase 10 acres of land in the Elgin Business Park to expand their operations by adding 50,000 square feet of manufacturing space. Construction is expected to start in the Summer of 2023.
