“Residents and visitors enjoy the many attractions Elgin, TX, has to offer! Elgin is just a 20-mile drive from Austin, TX, making a visit to the city convenient and affordable. There are a variety of unique businesses to frequent located in the city’s historic downtown area. The Elgin Main Street Board has put together a downtown welcome guide for those new to the area who are interested in exploring these historic buildings and businesses,” stated Owen Rock, the Director of the EEDC.
